Do I need a permit for a dormer in Eindhoven? expand_more
A dormer window at the back of the house is usually permit-free, provided it has a flat roof and stays at a certain distance from the roof edges. A permit is almost always required at the front or side (facing the road). We perform this check for you free of charge.
What is the difference between prefab and traditional construction? expand_more
A prefab dormer is built in a factory and hoisted onto the roof in one piece. This is faster (sealed in 1 day). A traditional dormer is built on-site on the roof; this takes longer but is more flexible for complex roofs or specific wishes.
What about the finishing on the inside? expand_more
By default, a dormer is delivered 'casco' (wind and watertight structural shell). However, Construxx is a total contractor. We can also completely finish, insulate, plaster, and paint the inside for you, so you immediately have a finished room.
